Starting in Costa Rica
Green Cubes support expansion of the COBIGA Biological Corridor, south of Costa Rica. The rainforest is renowned for its rich biodiversity with over 200 different tree species as well as animals including jaguars, ocelots and caimans. Here, Green Cubes helps local forest owners and farmers to get an alternative revenue to support flora and fauna. For every Green Cubes sponsored, an equivalent amount of rainforest is conserved.
Science and technology
We collaborate with the world's leading biodiversity science institutions that also have strong local presence. In the COBIGA corridor we teamed up with the University of Vienna that has been active in La Gamba for over 30 years. This area of 100 square km is now 3D mapped down to a few centimeters with Hexagon Digital Reality, which enables Green Cubes as the most transparent biodiversity sponsorship class in the market.
Pater Noster, a renowned boutique hotel on the beautiful Swedish West Coast, is proud to announce its pioneering sponsorship of Green Cubes, a green-tech initiative managed by Hexagon’s R-evolution. Every guest who stays at Pater Noster is contributing to an equal amount of cubic meters of rainforest conservation in Costa Rica.
